Ive used the HP17BII since it was new on the market. This calculator is identical and actually better with many more functions. Best of all I now have a 17B in my pocket all the time!

This blows all the other calculators away. Forget RPN! This is easy entry IN ANY ORDER YOU WANT! Simple.

We just swapped all our personal technology from PC to Apple and I initially searched for this app in the app store and was not successful but found it via a google search. I bought a 19BII in 1989, the year after they came out as I was entering grad school and still carry it everywhere I go today (sounds a little nutty but it always rides in a pouch in my briefcase). That calculator got me through so very much during grad school and on the job afterwards as well as personal financial endeavors over the years and then in business as I am a practicing CFP & financial advisor. When I was doing the CFP 10 years ago the 19BII wasnt allowed, but the 17BII WAS allowed so I bought one of those and had great success with using it for both the CFP and CIMA later. I just bought this app and test-ran it on the ipad2.....Love it!! I agree the ease of use is a bit better than on the actual calculator. Our last addition on the tech upgrade is to swap blackberries for iphones once the 5 comes out and this will be the first app I put on that thing...will lighten my daily briefcase load after 22 years of packing that 19BII as it will go in a drawer.

It is exactly what Ive been waiting for. I would, however, LOVE if they updated for iPad display as well. Amazing!

This is a great app. I have been using it for almost a couple of years. I use this calculator for everything - including log and trig functions. If you need a powerful, easy to use calculator with a host of finance features - this is the easiest most powerful tool you can use. I know RPN - but why bother - this is simple powerful and for me has been bug free. After 22years - as the title says - I have finally stopped carrying my HP 19B II calculator - this app is that good and reliable.

All the functionality of the venerable HP. Would be nice to get an update for iPhone 5.

I like the functions, but Im disappointed that they dont have an iPad version. Pretty simple to do and I suppose they will once they figure out they can get enough of us to buy it a second time for the iPad version.

After years of carrying my 17Bll back and forth between work & home, I was so pleased to find this app. It works and looks just like my 17Bll but it is even better because its with me all the time. I use it on both my iPhone and iPad.

Another of the best calculators Ive used. But we desperately need an update for the iPhone 5 and iPad. Splash screen is incredibly annoying too. Put that in a lite version, not an 8 dollar app!

It is nice to always have it on hand. Would like to have update for iPhone 5.

This is a very good version of the HP 17BII plus. In fact, it really offers a superset of functions since it contains more features than the physical calculator. It works well on my iPad 2 and is very easy to use. The only issue I encountered is the date and time function. It does not display the accurate time. The vendor is aware, but has not yet fixed it. This is a minor issue since everything else works well.

I upgraded to the newer version and it lost all my equations. Not happy. I want the 50 custom equations back

They changed the look. And now its not so nice

Great app! Buttons dont stick like on real HP 17B. Easy to use and the update gives it a fresh look. A must have.

I liked the way it worked before yesterdays upgrade. I guess I will get new batteries for my real HP17BII and go back to it.

The user interface was better before the latest upgrade.
